Today we took part in the Spencerville Heritage Fair. It celebrates Canada's Heritage of the War of 1812-14. Tents were provided for the vendors at the Fair.
Anne's costume included a "Staithes Bonnet'. modelled from the period as worn by fish wives from Yorkshire whoo carried baskets of fish on the padded version of this bonne
The venddors' tents were by the river, with the mill in the background to the right.
Many of the people in attendance dressed in Regency costume. Hopefully there were enough to generate a new Guinness World Record.
There were many re-enactments at the Fair, including the presence of a Fide and Drum band from Pkymouth, Michigan.
