Yesterday, while on an etsy chat line, I was asked if I could make a hat stand (a free standing head) suitable in size for baby bonnets. The person I was chatting with was an etsian from Florida. You can find her shop at:http://www.etsy.com/shop/2kute.
It is at her shop that I found dimensions for baby and children's hats for various age levels. I said I would give making such hat stands a try, and here is the result.
This particular hat stand measures 15" (39cm) in circumference. According to "2kute" this is the size for hats for babies from 0 to 3 months or from 3 to 6 months.
I will make more hat stands of appropriate size for toddlers to teens in the next while.
