At Almonte's Fibrefest, Victoria's Quilts Canada had a booth where rafle tickets for quilts were on sale. I usually do not buy any raffle tickets, but this time I made an exception. Victoria's quilts provides quilts for people with cancer. And, like almost all people, we have many friends with cancer.
The quilts being raffled were beautiful as the example above and the one below shows.
And we cannot forget that Almonte is the town where basketball was invented.
