This afternoon we go to Scotia Bank Place, home of the Ottawa Senators, to see "Stars on Ice" curtesy of our friends, Rick and Valerie Radford. Their son, Eric, and his skating partner Meaghan Dugamel, have joined this show since their silver medal performance in the recent "Worlds." Eric is the tall, handsome fellow with the red umbrella hugging his partner with his right arm. Val was the computer teacher at Red Lake District High School while I was the Geography teacher and Guidance Counsellor. Rick was a mining engineer. Eric's skating career began in Balmertown, one of the tine communities that make up the Red Lake district.
