Today Anne and I hiked the very popular Piestwa Peak Summit Trail in Phoenix. We passed no-one as we climbed slowly. We were passed by many including the occasional jogger.
The views over the Valley of the Sun were spectacular.
It took us three hours to ascend and descend the 1192feet frfom the trail's start to the peak. In total we covered 2.4 miles there and back.
Anne returned with a slightly sprained right ankle and abrasions to her left knee and shin. I escaped with just aching knees. It was a wonderful hike!
