Today's blog is a series of pictures of flowers in bloom today in my garden. These beautiful blooms take my mind off the weather at the fringes of Hurricane Irene that seriously affected sales at the Merrickville Show today. The cool temperatures, the blustery winds and the threat of rain kept most people away. I had zero sales today. Several of the smaller tents sailed away before the organisers of the show called it off at 1 30 pm.
