Prospective sale to Alabama

There is a good chance that three of these child-sized hat stands will be on the way to Alabama shortly. A milliner there is interested in buying these to model the children's hats she makes. She is interested in one of each of the smaller sizes: 0 - 3 month size, 3 - 6 month size, and 6 - 12 month size.

 I have added an adult sized hat stand and a pre-teen to teen sized stand to my inventory. I plan to make several more before the upcoming sales.

Hat stands to display hats for babies

A potential purchaser of one of the baby sized hat stands wanted to see the stands with new born to 3 month sized hats on them. Fortunately, our daughter-in-law was able to find hats she had put away 5 to 8 years ago when the grandchildren were born. I think they look cute!



The potential purchaser came through and bought one of these hat stands.

A welcome addition to the Anne Boleyn line.

Yesterday, while on an etsy chat line, I was asked if I could make a hat stand (a free standing head) suitable in size for baby bonnets. The person I was chatting with was an etsian from Florida. You can find her shop at:

It is at her shop that I found dimensions for baby and children's hats for various age levels. I said I would give making such hat stands a try, and here is the result.

This particular hat stand measures 15" (39cm) in circumference. According to "2kute" this is the size for hats for babies from 0 to 3 months or from 3 to 6 months.

I will make more hat stands of appropriate size for toddlers to teens in the next while.
