Today I received notice that one of my baskets was included in the Treasury listed above. The Treasury illustrates the story of Little Red Riding Hood through items sold on Etsy. One of the featured items is the basket that Little Red Riding Hood carried on her way to Gramdma's house. The Treasury chose one of my baskets for the illustration.

Promoting comes in threes.

Today I received the Spring 2010 issue of the "Renaissance" magazine, a publication of the Retired Teachers of Ontario. On pages 22 to 25 were several stories under the general heading of, "Adventures in entrepreneurship." Page 23 is shown here which tells the story of my basket-making under the sub-heading of, "Basket weaving online."

In the space of two days my baskets or my basket-making has been featured in three locations. Yesterday it was via an Etsy Treasury. Today, in addition to the Renaissance story, I was featured in the Etsy Chat Team blog at http://www.etsychatters.blogspot.com.

Maybe sales will arise?

Being technologically challenged, I was unable to post references to Nathan's class video on this blog. His class submitted a video in utube format to a .ca competition. Its a fun video. I was able to post it on my twitter account and you can accesss that from here by looking at my latest tweets.

Similarly, I could not post a link to an Etsy Treasury on this blog either. That treasury featured a basket of mine. My tweets do have the link, though.
