My bicycle sits forelornly in the shed, awaiting those spring days not too far away when it will be put to use again. Within a very short disatnce of our home we have access to bicycle pathways that lead throughout the Ottawa region. We can ride on theses exclusive trails all the way to downtown Ottawa and not worry about cars and trucks.
Anne's bike is fitted with a hand-made bike basket (naturally). For decades she rode a bike with a cross-bar since we had been unable to find a lady's bike for her. With this model she rides in style. She sits up regally, operates the seven gears impeccably, and would give a gracious, queenly wave to all observers if asked.
