Debra Turnbull, fellow-member of the Ottawa Valley Weavers and Spinners Guild, sent me this picture. I do not know whether the animal is a fan of mine or the severest of critics!
Some Guild members raise sheep and goats for their wool, and then spin the wool using traditional techniques (spinning wheels for example), dye the wool, and then hand-weave it into the finest of cloths.
