House plants are my response to the blogs from Vancouver showing spring blossoms gracing lawns and gardens. Our "Anthurium" or "Lovable Hearts" has produced another bloom. It is a remarkably beautiful bloom.

The sun is shining brightly on this first day of March. Its a balmy minus 12 C. The wet snow of yesterday looks so bright and cheerful today, especially after my neighbour shovelled the heavy, wet mess from my driveway. Spring cannot be that far away and the anthurium brightens the way to that spring.
