A productive morning on a rainy day.

Before 10 00 am I had baked about four dozen Apple Cinnamon Cookies for the concert this Saturday by the Big Soul Project choir. Four trays of cookies turned out well, but one tray, with cookies shown here, got a little too well done.
Then I prepared lunch after a shopping expedition and dropping Anne of at a "Sing-out" for her choir at a local retirement home. Whole wheat pasta is nearly ready.
The Ground Beef Ragout is also ready to be placed on a bed of pasta.

The end result, when consumed for lunch, was not as tasty as we had expected. Two cans of beans were perhaps one can too much. And the spices needed a little something too. The recipe was from a new cookbook I purchased on our recent trip to Maine: The Low-Fat, Low- Cholesterol Cookbook by the American Heart Association.
