While we were on holiday in Maine earlier this year, I came across several stores in Bar Harbour that use wicker stands to display hats. These stands had chins, a feature I did not have with my models. I took several photographs with the intent to make better hat stands with chins.
After three hours of weaving, this is my first chinned hat stand. It is 20" in brim diameter, a teen-age sized hat stand.
I think I will make more of various sizes since it did come out quite well.
