The empty nest looms!

Three months after Adrian moved into his group home, Julian, shown here, moved back home into our basement. This was almost four years ago. He was unemployed and needed our support while he found a job. That did not take too long, but getting back to a sound economic footing took longer.

Yesterday, he went to an Open House at an apartment complex and has signed a contract, subject to a variety of checks, to rent a studio apartment. If all works out, he will soon move into his own place. The nest will be empty again!
